The Forza FC U17 Girls Team won silver medals at the recently concluded United Football League Youth Tournament that ran from April to June 2016. Their UFL campaign ended with 3 wins and 1 loss in the elimination round, followed by a semi-finals win vs. Kaya FC which brought the team to the finals. The championship match was held on June 19 against Nomads FC ending with a 0-2 score in favor of the opponents. Nevertheless, the Forza FC girls team accomplished great achievements this summer having been Forza FC’s first time to enter a team in the girls division of the UFL.
The Forza FC youth teams are also handled by the founders of Futbol Funatics, Candice and Avery del Rosario, who enter U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17 age categories yearly in the UFL youth summer league.
The 2016 Forza U17 girls team is composed of Joanna Almeda, Danna Amposta, Mary Angelique Ballesteros, Gertrude Ann Bejo, Kathleen Bernas, Anicka Castañeda, Adrienne Co, Abigail Corvera, Alisha Clare Del Campo, Arantxa Del Mundo, Glynnes Dela Cruz, Cecile Deita, Junalyn Espiritu, Ana Beatriz Gemperle, Krizha Guteza, Daniella Jacinto, Maria Sophia Jacinto, Alex Jimenez,Natasha Lacson, Juliana Macarubbo, Julianna Aubrey Malenab, Bianca Maniquis, Sophia Manuel, Rocio Mercado, Margaret Mohammad, Toni Panes, Jill Panginiban, Nicole Peñalosa, Valerie Anne Polido, Guinevere Rocamora, MJ Saquilayan, Anna Marie Therese Singian and Mika Punzalan. Coaching staff was headed by Elyo Dillera and Lica Ibarra.
In addition to winning 2nd place, the team was also awarded the Fair Play trophy for the league.
