The FFAST Program was launched in July of 2010 and is a program designed for the Futbol Funatics’ camp enrollees who have an advanced skill level and who simultaneously maintain a good attitude towards the sport and learning, as per the assessment of the Futbol Funatics coaching staff. Based on your child’s performance and progress at the regular camps, players are selected and invited to participate in this program where they engage in supplementary training that will help him/her grow as a player and gain an even deeper understanding of the sport.

The main objectives of the FFAST program are the following:

• It aims to take your child’s skill and knowledge in football to another level. Through this supplementary training program, the knowledge your child gains from the regular camps is further enhanced through advanced training sessions, games with other schools/club teams and exclusive workshops.

• The mental preparation and emotional growth of a player who is of a more advanced skill level than other children his or her age must be carefully monitored and guided. The FFAST Program also places great emphasis on this aspect of their growth as these children may have to deal with more pressure or higher expectations given their abilities.

• The FFAST Program is also used as a training pool for the Futbol Funatics Selection Team that represents the club in 7-aside tournaments throughout the year. FFAST players are also invited to be a part of the Forza FC Youth football program (which is also handled by the founders of Futbol Funatics), and are able to participate in the Youth Football League (YFL).

Based on the coaches’ assessment of your child at the regular camps, you would be receiving an email invite from the Futbol Funatics program director if your child is deemed ready and fit to participate in the FFAST program.
