Among the many proud moments in Forza FC Youth history, the Forza U13 Cup Championship at the Youth Football League (YFL) 2025 stands out as one that will be remembered for years to come.
This title was earned through a long and demanding season—managing line-ups across multiple competitions, balancing a deep and talented roster, and patiently developing chemistry within a squad rich in ability and potential. The journey was made even more challenging by an age where growth, strength, and maturity vary greatly as players transition from childhood to adolescence—coupled with differing varsity and school schedules, fluctuating player availability, and the reality of having to train members of the squad at different times and locations to make it all work.
This remarkable achievement was not built on one or two superstars. This championship was years in the making.
It was shaped by a head coach who instills confidence and trust in his players—one who develops true game understanding, helps each player fully grasp what their role entails, and puts the pieces of the puzzle together to form a cohesive unit. A mentor who gives the term “utility player” a whole new meaning, empowering players to become effective and reliable in more than one role entrusted to them.
It was strengthened by parents who believe in the system and genuinely entrust their children’s development to the program.
It was carried by long-time players who have grown with the club—some who began their journey with Futbol Funatics at just four or five years old and continue to call Forza their home.
It was embraced by newer players who opened themselves to the process—adapting to a system, listening to corrections, and making the most of every opportunity given to them.
It was enriched by the involvement of three selected players from our long-time partner programs in Cebu, along with one selected player from Forza Negros—young athletes whose passion for the game has been nothing short of inspiring, pouring their hearts into every match.
And above all, it was forged by an entire squad that learned to trust one another, believe in themselves, and lift each other up—finding joy not in individual glory, but in making one another shine.
The championship match itself was a true reflection of this journey. The team faced the same opponent who handed them their only defeat at the start of the season—a humbling 0–7 loss. But instead of folding, the team adjusted game by game, earned their victories, climbed the standings, and fought hard to stay at the top. Their quarterfinal and semifinal matches came against formidable, championship-caliber teams, yet this relentless squad pushed forward, determined to earn their place in the final. Down 1–2 at halftime in the championship game, the team responded with grit, belief, and composure—delivering a commanding second-half performance to secure a 4–2 victory and the title.
This championship is dedicated to every player who has been part of this journey. Regardless of minutes played, matches listed, or roles assigned, each of you played an essential part in this achievement.

We lift this trophy for every Forza parent who has stood by the club through the years—who understands the value of the process through every victory and every defeat.
And lastly, we honor our entire coaching staff with this win—every coach who has helped guide these players in their early years and in the present. Their growth is a testament to your dedication, passion, and hard work.
This championship title is a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate how far we’ve come. Yet the journey continues—guided by purpose, fueled by growth, and strengthened by a community that believes in the process.
Congratulations, Coach Avery Del Rosario, the supporting staff and the Forza U13 players!
